Discipline: Jewellery and silversmithing

I am a craftsman/jeweller based in the Surrey Hills. I work from my home studio with my little dog curled up beside me. Our daily walks around the beautiful surrounding countryside influence my work and have inspired my collections of entwined objects, leaves, flowers and small creatures.

My training was in Hatton Garden where I learned the traditional skills of the master goldsmith. I love the creative process of working with metal and particularly enjoy using texture and contrast in my work. Combining silver with gold, copper and patination together with torch heating and burnishing to achieve light and shade in my work.

I sell online at www.carolinebrook.com and regularly exhibit in Sussex with The Sussex Guild of Craftsmen.
