Below mini-size at 9cm in length. Exterior is patterned dichroic glass, with twin glass wheels, producing richly coloured images. . The nearest wheel (millefiori and glass jewels) creates the detail in the image, the second wheel (textured and dichroic glass) provides colours and textures in the background.

About the maker
Frank Higgins runs the UK’s only studio dedicated to the design and creation of “serious” kaleidoscopes, bringing twenty years of experience in glasswork to bear in developing this unique craft. Frank’s work is collected worldwide and won awards at the International exhibition “Kaleidoscopes – 200 years”.
